The Freeloader Pico is a compact and lightweight solar charger designed for people on the move!

Using advanced solar cell and lithium ion battery technologies, this solar device will charge its internal battery in double quick time. It then takes only 30 minutes to deliver its power to give a mobile phone 35 hours, iPod 14 hours, GPS 1 ½ hours.

It also comes with four connection tips, a master cable and a comprehensive user manual. The great thing about the Pico Solar Charger is that it can also directly connect to any device supplied with a USB charge / sync cable, giving virtually unlimited connectivity.

Please note that the Freeloader Pico is unable to charge tablet computers or iPads (including the iPad mini)

  • All deliveries to PO Boxes must select Australian Air Express (no signature) at checkout.
  • All solar panel orders are delivered by Allied Express as they offer a fragile freight service.
  • The above prices are the base price and are different for each post code and is based on the weight of your products.
  • For next day delivery of products, orders must be placed before 9am (Monday-Friday). This is subject to stock availability, if the product is out of stock delivery may be delayed.
  • If your parcel is returned to Todae as it was not able to be delivered you will be required to pay a re-delivery fee (unless you select Australian Air Express Signature Required).
  • If you would like the couriers to leave your parcel, you can advise us and we will provide the couriers with an 'Authority to Leave' request. Please note that if you parcel is left and stolen/misplaced we cannot replace it. The authority to leave is actioned at your own risk.

Your products will be delivered by your selected courier company. You can provide specific delivery directions for when you are not at home (authority to leave the parcel), avoiding the need to collect your package from the courier depot. Once we send your products you will be emailed a tracking number to follow your parcel.

I have now had mine for few years and I would not be without it I keep it in my handbag and while driving I keep on the dash for charging. I use it to charge up my Bluetooth earpiece for my mobile.
Not as much charging power as I had hoped

This product is a great idea and works well, in that it is easy charge and comes with a multitude of connectors so that it can charge mobile phones, ipods etc. However, we have found that a full day charging in full sunlight will only produce enough power to charge, for example, a mobile phone to 3/4 full. This is fine to just top up but it certainly can't do too items and you do need to be organised to ensure you charge up every day in the sun and then connect to something overnight to charge, otherwise when you need to charge something fully or more than one item you won't have enough power to do it.

We bought this for traveling as we dont have to worry about different plugs or finding power. It did take a while to charge on the window sill but having the option to charge from laptop is great. Charged my blackberry in no time.

I have just received a replacement Pico as the one purchased was faulty. As the replacement was received only last week I have only so far charged my mobile from the first Pico charge done through my PC. I will have to wait until my mobile needs charging again to see if the Pico will charge via solar charging. If the replacement works OK I would highly recommend it especially to trades people as they can charge their mobile whilst out on a job.
