Our Home Offset Packages mean your house is carbon neutral for 12 months by offsetting your electricity and gas. You can purchase a Medium Home Offset via Waste Recycling for $360 or Solar RECs for $1020. We guarantee to reduce CO2 emissions by 12 tonnes with this option. A Medium Australian House has up to 4 people living in up to 3 bedrooms, does not have air conditioning, central heating, or a swimming pool. We will offset 6,900Mw of electricity and 12,000Kj of gas.

Waste Recycling:

The project reduces waste heading to domestic landfill sites. Landfill sites produce methane as the organic matter decomposes. One tonne of methane is equal to 21-23 tonnes of CO2, and waste recycling credits help reduce the amount of methane in the atmosphere.

Solar RECs:
RECs are basically an investment in renewable energy which are validated by the Office Of The Renewable Energy Regulator. RECs contribute to the renewable energy supplied to the electricity grid, which reduces carbon emission. By choosing a Solar REC Offset, the equivalent amount of carbon will be removed from the atmosphere through putting solar power into the grid.
