SOLARGORILLA works via two PV (photovoltaic) solar panels, which generate electric current when they are exposed to light. The solar panels are made of glass which greatly improves the performance of the SOLARGORILLA as well as making the aesthetics of the unit better. The Red LED on the SOLAR GORILLA indicates the strength of charge - the more UV intensity - the better it will work! The technically advanced solar panels ensure superb power and reliable performance, all housed in a tough outer casing.

SOLARGORILLA is a charging option. It is primarily designed to be used in conjunction with the POWERGORILLA and may not work with some laptops over 40 watts directly. It relies on the UV intensity of the sun. Therefore, at this time of year it may not be suitable for use in the Northern Hemisphere unless combined with the POWERGORILLA. The SOLARGORILLA solar charger has been trialled successfully in the Southern Hemisphere by aid agencies, emergency services, the military and adventure travellers, where power is a crucial element of their communications strategy. The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation suffered communications problems in the past and the products have been hugely acclaimed as being a long overdue solution to power issues. Pre-production units have also been on field tests in Africa, Australia and even Afghanistan. The SOLARGORILLA was extensively field-tested in the UK earlier this year, where it powered a number of laptops for a week at a time.

• All deliveries to PO Boxes must select Australian Air Express (no signature) at checkout.
• All solar panel orders are delivered by Allied Express as they offer a fragile freight service.
• The above prices are the base price and are different for each post code and is based on the weight of your products.
• For next day delivery of products, orders must be placed before 9am (Monday-Friday). This is subject to stock availability, if the product is out of stock delivery may be delayed.
• If your parcel is returned to Todae as it was not able to be delivered you will be required to pay a re-delivery fee (unless you select Australian Air Express Signature Required).
• If you would like the couriers to leave your parcel, you can advise us and we will provide the couriers with an 'Authority to Leave' request. Please note that if you parcel is left and stolen/misplaced we cannot replace it. The authority to leave is actioned at your own risk.

Your products will be delivered by your selected courier company. You can provide specific delivery directions for when you are not at home (authority to leave the parcel), avoiding the need to collect your package from the courier depot. Once we send your products you will be emailed a tracking number to follow your parcel.
