Change your Perspective - 1 day a month
|
After great success and feedback from "The Plastic Diet" we have decided to implement a community based day every month that aims to generate awareness around our actions and get people talking. We have decided to call it the “Todae Monthly Eco-Challenge”
The idea is to have a different challenge every month that only lasts for one day, without being too taxing or compromising, but that will still make a significant difference if everyone gets involved. It will occur on the 1st day of every month to make it easy to remember the date. We would love to get your ideas on what you think may be effective and fun. Please send your ideas to thoughts@todae.com.au

Todae Monthly Eco Challenge November
|
'Upcycle Month'
|
So, what is 'upcycling'?
By definition, 'upcycling' is a term used to describe the recycling of waste materials with the intent of creating a product of higher quality design and artistic value. This process allows for the reduction of waste and requires little to no virgin material.
In other words, take your old stuff and make it into new stuff! This is unlike any other eco challenge we have done before and we are all going to have a crack at it. You never know what you could come up with!
Okay, so here's the deal. Upcycle anything in your home, send us a pic and we will post it on our website! You have until the 30th November to do so. We are looking forward to see what you create!
Check out these websites for some upcycle inspiration.

We encourage you to do this exercise with friends and family and get them involved as well. This will make it easier, more fun and the more people that do it, the more impact it will have.
|
We also encourage you to write to us telling about your experience so we can share it with others.
|
Good luck,
Danin & The Todae Team
