Tim Flannery Opens New Todae Sydney Store at Westfield Bondi Junction!!

World renowned environmental scientist and 2007 Australian of the year Professor Tim Flannery opened the new Todae Westfield Bondi Junction Store at the official launch party. The store is Todae's second store after their Glebe store opened in late 2006. The store located on Level 1, Westfield Bondi Junction gives Sydney's Eastern Suburbs easy access to Todae's leading range of eco-friendly products and services that will help them to make a positive difference to our environment without jeapoardising their lifestyles.

Sustainable Practices:

Todae has fitted out the new Bondi Junction store with a number of sustainable initiatives to ensure the least impact on the environment. Todae has installed solar panels to the Westfield Bondi Junction roof, which will generate emissions free electricity that will run directly to the store.  The store has been painted with bio-paint that is eco friendly and non toxic, while LED downlights and compact fluorescent globes have been installed to make the store’s lighting 80% more efficient than that of the average retail store. Official Launch Party

The Todae Bondi Junction Store was officially opened with a VIP Launch on May 21st, 2008 with the help of Tim Flannery. The 2007 Australian of the Year and author of the ground-breaking climate change book The Weather Makers. Professor Flannery officially opened the store and addressed the VIP guests about the new challenges faced regarding climate change and how we can make a difference.
